Web2 vs. Web3
Quick iteration on web2 and web3. In web2 most companies monetized user data to make their company profitable by selling user information to third party agencies to sell them goods and services from seeing their personal data. In web3, it’s somewhat opposite of web2. The only difference is, web3 users are utilizing blockchain technology to monetize their data not the big corporations by earning crypto rewards in a decentralized environment.
How to connect?
To connect to dApp does not require credentials, simply connect with ERC wallet. The current beta version uses MetaMask wallet to connect. We are testing other wallets (Trust, Rainbow and more to connect with the dApp. The usage of digital wallets by users around the world is increasing, to invest in, explore blockchain it is necessary to have a digital wallet. There are many different networks ex, Ethereum, Solana, Binance chain, each chain connects to identical network wallet addresses.
What is ERC or ERC20?
ERC stands for “Ethereum request for comment,” and the ERC20 standard was implemented in 2015. “ERC20” refers to a scripting standard used within the Ethereum blockchain. This technical standard dictates a number of rules and actions that an Ethereum token or smart contract must follow and steps to be able to implement it.
